Although not a household name, Moore Large is the largest distributor of cycles, scooters and accessories in the UK. Much of its delivery is through a series of distributors and retail outlets.

As well as bicycles, their impressive product portfolio includes premium quality tyres, performance inspired bicycle components, design specific cycle clothing and innovative luggage and travel systems.

NetSquared were engaged to develop a Dealer Extranet to provide real time ordering of their 5500 + product range. The system integrates to the company enterprise Sage system via a secure VPN connection. Dealers can be given rights to manage additional logins for staff in their company.

The product catalogue on the website is updated on a scheduled basis and can also be updated on demand by an administrator. Orders are placed against the live Sage system, giving accurate feedback to the customer as to status and prices.

A background agent enables an administrator to queue orders on the web server during periods when they do not want the Sage system to be updated. The agent subsequently places these queued orders once the Sage system is flagged as available again. Initial feedback from the user base has been very favourable.
